The Campeggio ai Bosconi is located a few steps from the village of Caslano and the lakeside of Lake of Lugano. Little and cosy, it provides our guests a familiar and friendly atmosphere.
The campsite has electricity, a room with refrigerators, and gives the possibility to rent mobile homes. Our guests can also have free access to the nearby (2 minutes walk) public beach (lidodicaslano).
Caslano is a village with 4'400 inhabitants situated near the Lake of Lugano, 9 km far from Lugano and 2 km far from Italy, where you can go shopping. There are open markets on Saturdays in Ponte Tresa and on Wednesdays in Luino.
The nearby natural park Monte di Caslano is worth a visit. Not only it provides beautiful paths with stunning views, but it is also a protected area in Switzerland because of its geological and botanical characteristics.
In the old center of Caslano you will find restaurants, pubs, a very yummy ice-cream parlour, a newsagent and some shops.
Moreover, not far from the campsite there are also a minigolf, the Chocolate Museum, the Fishing Museum and the Zoo al Maglio.
Caslano lies in the region Malcantone, a very special area: the landscape, the climate, the richness of water and the wonderful hills and mountains make of this region the perfect place where to spend your holidays. Monte Lema, higher than 1'600 m, the many paths (the Chestnut path, the Water path, the path of Marvels, the Men Track path, the Sundial path, etc.) and the Malcantone Museum are only a few of the attractions you can find in this region.
If you want to spend pleasant evenings tasting typical wines (like Merlot), typical spirits (like grappa and Nocino) and the Ticinese cooking, you can go to teh many “grotti”, which are little restaurants usually situated in the woods or in fresh places.
As you can see, you just have to choose between practicing sports, going on excursions, admiring the typical architecture, culture and events, tasting our gastronomy or going shopping.
